Grid2Grid International Development Solutions Group (IDSG) is currently in the process of recruiting consultants to compliment its core group of economists and development specialists. For an overview of IDSG please see our group webpage: Specifically, we are looking to recruit consultants in the following areas of expertise:

Economists Specializing in: (a) Quantitative Modeling and Forecasting and (b) Poverty Analysis and Distribution Issues

Candidates should have a minimum of five years experience with one or more of the following institutions:

International financial institutions such as the IMF, WB, ADB, AfDB, EBRD, IADB
Leading academic and/or research institutions
Non-government organizations involved in economic policy work

Working knowledge and practical experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

Models of economic stabilization and adjustment
Fiscal and external debt sustainability analysis for oil-exporting as well as oil-importing countries
Medium-term growth analysis
Medium-term fiscal frameworks
Public expenditure reviews
Monitoring and evaluation with special reference to Millennium Development Goals
Poverty and distribution analysis
Macroeconomic statistics
