TANZANIA


Located in East Africa, Tanzania with a population of approximately 40 million is rich in mineral and natural resources such as gold, diamonds and coal. The country has enjoyed uninterrupted political stability since independence in 1961 and in the middle of the 1980s was one of the first countries in the region to liberalize its economy. Under the present government Tanzania has made a number of changes to its investment laws, regulations and incentives to attract foreign investment in the development of energy and infrastructure.
